Europe’s leading vendor of conformal coating solutions, HumiSeal Europe, has announced the appointment of John Anderson as development chemist. The announcement comes as the company continues to focus its efforts on further developing the European market and specifically vertical markets such as the automotive and telecoms sectors following sustained growth over the last two years.
John joins HumiSeal at a time when significant increases in demand have been seen for the company’s revolutionary UV40 range of UV curable coatings. However, the electronics industry is intensely dynamic and companies must continually develop new technology and products in order to stay ahead of emerging component, SMT design and manufacturing trends. John’s remit will include in-house research and development towards new conformal coating technologies alongside ongoing technical assistance to the company’s extensive customer base throughout Europe.
John summed up his new role by saying: “I am really excited by the new challenges that this roles brings, particularly in the customer-facing aspect. I am also looking forward to developing my existing skills to enable me to effectively help our customers meet the challenges of tomorrow.”
Prior to joining HumiSeal, John graduated from The University of Leeds in 2007 with an MSc in Chemical biology and BSc (Hons) in chemistry.
David Greenman, managing director for HumiSeal Europe commented: “I am delighted to welcome John to the team and feel that he is an excellent candidate for the role. His work in the laboratory and with customers will be invaluable and will help cement our position as an authority in the conformal coatings arena”.
