Outstanding quality images are produced with the new MicroEye videoscope from Ultrafine Technology thanks to the micro image sensor located at the extreme tip of the probe. Only 3.8 mm in diameter, the flexible probe has LED illumination and two-way angulation of the tip.
With its wide 85 degree field of view, the unit is ideal for the inspection of cylinder heads, gearboxes, heat exchangers and other machinery that requires high quality inspection without the need for strip down.
The probe is 1000 mm long and 3.8 mm in diameter with a synthetic outer covering, or 4.1 mm with a tungsten braid covering for more robust applications.
LED illumination intensity can be controlled via the compact control unit, which has a USB output as well as two composite video connectors.
"The MicroEye is built to a very high standard, with the highest quality optics and mechanical engineering," said Ultrafine managing director John Patterson. "Good ergonomics also make it very easy to use."
The videoscope comes with a 10.4" TFT monitor, stand and carrying case, with drivers and demonstration software on a CD.
