sara LBS Will Show its Latest Innovations in Machinery Protection and Cleanroom Technology Doors at the 2012 Southern Manufacturing exhibition

sara Loading Bay Specialists will be promoting the RP 2000 and Fraunhofer Certified Sprint Clean Room Door on stand M24 at the Southern Manufacturing exhibition in Farnborough on the 15th and 16th of February, 2012. Featuring working demo models of the doors, the sara stand will welcome visitors who are keen to learn more about sara doors for special applications.
The RP range of Machine Protection Doors is the most effective safety measure to protect personnel from machinery. It enables a rapid switch from complete isolation of a production stage to easy access in a matter of seconds; providing protection from flying sparks, welding splatter etc. without impeding operations efficiency. RP doors have a failsafe Category 4 PLe – ISO 13849-1 switch which detects when the door is fully closed.
The outstanding performance has led to sara LBS being a registered supplier of almost all major automotive manufacturers.

The RP 2000 is the latest development with a solid impact tested curtain also available for laser applications. Increased speeds of 2,3 m/s and long life components allow up to 5 cycles per minute to maximise production output.
The Sprint Clean is the latest door development for closing off areas in clean room production. Certified by the Frauenhofer Institute as ISO Class 5 and GMP Class C it offers a reliable performance in these delicate areas while integrating the latest touchless technology.
The doors are available with sara’s patented MCC Vector Control System that delivers smooth acceleration and operation and reduces wear. This allows the RapidProtect doors to reach operation speeds of up to 2.4 m/s and gives operators the chance to program separate opening heights for different components passing through. sara’s unique non-contact safety beam is also available, providing further protection to staff and machinery by automatically returning the door to a fully opened position when it detects an obstacle.
