STEMMER IMAGING To Distribute Smart Vision Lights In Europe

STEMMER IMAGING has become a master distributor for the European market for the range of machine vision illumination systems from U.S. supplier, Smart Vision Lights (SVL). SVL is a leader in developing and manufacturing high current LEDs machine vision lights, with an intelligent driver in every light.
SVL’s portfolio includes LED spot and line lights, backlights and ringlights, and models with diffuse light. Smart driver technology provides a constant current to every light allowing operation in continuous or strobe mode. This provides particularly easy integration into the STEMMER IMAGING range of BOA smart cameras from Teledyne DALSA.

SVL’s OverDrive™ range of LEDs feature the unique SafeStrobe technology, which applies safe working parameters to ensure the LEDs are not damaged by driving them beyond their limits. The OverDrive™ series provides repeatable intensity control and pulsing by using a microprocessor to watch and control the power to the LEDs for safe operation.
Models with ratings up to IP68 as well as lights that offer structured light for triangulation applications complementary to laser lights are also available.
